It helps encourage health and well-being; through the provision of facilities that promote rejuvenation and the transformative power of play which is overlooked in adulthood due to their busy and stressful lives. It will help transform everyday stressful situations into entertaining ones and allow adults to acknowledge the underlying benefits of play and relaxation.
Merging play and relaxation together provides a new coping strategy for individuals where they can freely enjoy the process of distressing and a method that cultivates healing at the same time. Treatments and activities are infused within the building’s structure which relies on the user and architecture to work together, allowing individuals to take control and engage in their own relaxation.
