Refund & Returns Policy – By KMaria

At By KMaria, every artwork and product is crafted with care and attention to detail. Due to the unique and handmade nature of my work, the following refund policy is in place:

General Policy​

All sales are final. Refunds or exchanges are not offered unless the item arrives damaged or there is an issue caused by the Artist.

Each artwork is created with a high level of craftsmanship, and minor variations in texture, colour, or finish are part of the artistic process.

Original Artwork & Prints
​

Due to their one-of-a-kind nature, original paintings and limited-edition prints cannot be refunded or returned.

If an artwork arrives damaged, please refer to the Damaged Items section below.

Commissioned Artwork
​​

Commissions are non-refundable as they are custom-made to client specifications.

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to begin the project. This deposit covers materials, time, and preparation.

The remaining 50% balance is due before delivery and is also non-refundable once the artwork is completed.

If a client cancels a commission before work begins, the deposit remains non-refundable, but no further charges will be applied.​

Damaged Items

If your artwork arrives damaged, please follow these steps:

Report the damage within 48 hours of receiving your order.

Provide clear photographs of the damaged item and packaging.

I will assess the situation and determine if a replacement, repair, or partial refund is possible.

If a return is necessary, the item must be sent back in its original packaging. Return shipping costs are the buyer’s responsibility.​

Shipping Issues & Lost Packages

Once an order has been shipped, By KMaria is not responsible for delays, lost packages, or customs holds caused by the shipping provider.

If a package is lost, please contact the courier first. By KMaria will assist in providing tracking details and any necessary documentation.

International buyers: Customs fees and import duties are the buyer’s responsibility and do not qualify for a refund.

Digital Products & Downloads
​

Digital products (such as printable artwork or calendars) are non-refundable once downloaded.

If you have trouble accessing your digital file, please reach out for assistance.

Exceptions & Special Cases

If there is an error on my end (such as receiving the wrong item), I will correct the issue at no additional cost.

Any refunds issued (in rare cases) will be processed to the original payment method within 7-10 business days.
